Magic Unicorn Cookies made with DOVE® Chocolate Baking Chips

  • 1 ½ cups DOVE® Chocolate Baking Chips
  • 2 ¾ cups (12 ½ ounces) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3/4 cup (1 ½ sticks) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed (7 ounces) light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (3 ½ ounces) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles


  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt and set aside.
  2. In the bowl of your stand mixer (fitted with the paddle attachment), cream together the butter and sugars on medium-high speed until mixed, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on medium speed for 10 seconds after each addition.
  4. Add the vanilla and mix until incorporated.
  5. Add the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. Fold in the DOVE® Chocolate Baking Chips and then rainbow sprinkles.
  7. Using a medium cookie scoop (about 1 ½ tablespoons), scoop the dough into balls and onto a parchment lined cookie sheet leaving a few inches between cookies.
  8. Note from Robin: I like to dip the unbaked cookies in EXTRA sprinkles before baking to achieve the proper unicorn effect.
  9. Bake at 375ºF for 9-12 mins until golden around the edges and set in the middle.
  10. Do not overbake!
