Chocolate Mocha Coffee Cake

Ingredients
- 2 lbs. Sugar
- 1 1/2 lbs. M&M’S® Semi-Sweet Mini Baking Bits
- 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup Instant coffee
- 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon, ground
- Icing:
- 1 lb. Powdered sugar
Chocolate Mocha Coffee Cake
Makes: 64 servings
Hint: Place pastry slices in a sheet pan for cafeteria applications.
Direction
- Divide the dough into two equal parts. Roll out each part into a 24" x 36" rectangle.
- Mix filling ingredients together and sprinkle onto the dough. Roll each dough sheet up. Cut the dough into 3/4 inch slices and place 5 slices each into 16 greased 9 inch baking pans. Proof until dough has doubled in size. Bake at 375ºF for 35 minutes.
- Stir the powdered sugar and corn syrup together in a double boiler with enough water to thin to an icing consistency.
- When the coffee cake has cooled for 15 minutes, frost with icing and decorate with M&M'S® Mini Baking Bits.
