Chocolate Pasta with Raspberry Sauce and Chopped SNICKERS®

  • 1 cup SNICKERS® Bars, Chopped
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup Confectioners Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • 1 vanilla bean, whole
  • 1 quart raspberries, fresh
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup raspberries, fresh

Chocolate Pasta with Raspberry Sauce and Chopped SNICKERS®

  1. Combine flour, cocoa powder, confectioners sugar, vanilla extract, eggs and water. Form a dough, wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
  2. Roll out dough and cut into desired pasta shape.
  3. Scrape vanilla bean pod and place half into a small sauce pot for the next step; reserve the other half.
  4. In the same sauce pot, combine the quart of raspberries, ⅓ cup sugar and lemon juice. Bring to a boil, turn down to simmer until raspberries break down; Strain and cool the sauce.
  5. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the remaining half vanilla bean with heavy cream and 2 Tbsp. sugar; soft-whip until cream just holds a peak.
  6. Cook pasta in boiling water to desired tenderness, strain.
  7. Place raspberry sauce in the bottom of 4 bowls; spoon pasta over top. Generously sprinkle chopped SNICKERS® Bars on pasta; top with a heaping tablespoon of soft-whip and the cup of fresh raspberries for garnish.
