Churro Bites made with TWIX® Cookie Bars

Ingredients
Churro Dough
- ½ c butter, salted
- 1 c water
- ½ t salt
- 1¼ c all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- ½ c TWIX® Cookie Bars, ⅛” chopped, frozen
To Finish
- ½ c granulated sugar
- ½ t cinnamon, ground

Churro Dough
- Melt butter in saucepan.
- Add water and salt, bring to simmer and continue to simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Immediately fold in the flour until fully incorporated. Let stand for 10 minutes to cool.
- Add eggs, one at a time, fully incorporating after each.
- Fold in frozen, chopped TWIX® Cookie Bars.
- Place prepared churro dough into a heavy duty piping bag with a medium star tip.
- Pipe out long lines, each separated by two inches, onto a parchment lined sheet pan.
- Use a sharp knife to cut churros into 1" long pieces.
Final Preparation
- In a large skillet or fryer, heat oil to 350°F.
- Combine the sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
- Cut large piece of parchment into squares so that you get nine pieces evenly spaced into 3 rows of 3.
- Place parchment side down into the hot oil.
- After 30 seconds, remove the parchment with tongs.
- After 30-45 additional seconds, remove Churro Bites.
- Lightly toss in cinnamon sugar. and serve immediately. Pack in bags of 7 bites.
