Confetti Sugar Cookies made with M&M’S® Minis Chocolate Candies

  • ¾ c M&M’S® Minis Chocolate Candies
  • 1 c vegetable shortening
  • 1 c granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t vanilla extract
  • 3.4 oz box white chocolate instant pudding mix, unprepared
  • 2¼ c all-purpose flour
  • 1 t baking soda
  • ¼ t salt

Confetti Sugar Cookies made with M&M’S® Minis Chocolate Candies

Makes: 30 Cookies


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Line sheet pans with parchment paper.
  3. Using a stand mixer with paddle attachment, combine shortening and granulated sugar until creamy.
  4. Mix in eggs and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the dry pudding mix, flour, baking soda and salt and add to the mixer until fully incorporated.
  6. Fold in half of the M&M'S® Minis Chocolate Candies.
  7. Using a #40 scoop or 1½ T measuring tool, portion and place on the prepared sheet pans.
  8. Lightly press down each scoop and add the remaining M&M'S® Minis Chocolate Candies on top of each. Press again to mildly flatten.
  9. Bake for approximately 8 minutes. The cookies will be fairly blonde, be careful to not overbake or brown cookies.
  10. Let cool for 15 minutes before removing from the pan.
  11. Serve individual cookies in cookie bag or individually wrapped. Great as a pairing in a value meal!
