Dark Chocolate Risotto
Ingredients
- 1 qt BEN’S ORIGINAL™ INTERNATIONAL GRAINS™ Arborio Rice
- 4 qt Half & Half
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 12 oz-wt DOVE® Dark Chocolate, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
- As needed Flake Sea Salt
- 2 cup Unsweetened Whipped Cream (optional)
Dark Chocolate Risotto
Makes: 24 Servings
Direction
- Over a double boiler, melt chocolate.
- In a large sauce pot, combine rice, half & half and sugar. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook until grains are tender and risotto is creamy. Fold in melted chocolate.
- Portion ½ cup of chocolate risotto into desired vessel. Garnish with (1 Tbsp of whipped cream if desired) shaved dark chocolate and sea salt.
