Hotteok made with DOVE® Chocolate

Ingredients
Filling:
- 6 T DOVE® Chocolate, ¼” chopped
- ¼ c light brown sugar
- ¼ t cinnamon, ground
- 1 T toasted hazelnuts, finely-chopped
Hotteok Dough:
- 1 c whole milk, warm
- 2 t instant dry yeast
- 2 t sugar, granulated
- 2½ c all-purpose flour
- 1 t salt, fine

Makes: 14 hotteoks
Direction
Filling:
- In a small bowl, combine chopped DOVE® Chocolate, light brown sugar, cinnamon, hazelnuts.
- Set aside.
Hotteok Dough:
- Combine warm milk, yeast and sugar. Let stand for 10 minutes to activate yeast.
- Add the flour and salt.
- Using a stand mixer with dough hook attachment, mix for 10 minutes. A smooth dough ball should form that does not stick to the sides.
- Cover the dough and let rise until double in size, approximately one hour.
- Divide the dough into 14 equal portions. Roll each one out into a flat circle.
- Place 1T of filling into the center of the circle. Bring up each opposite edge and pinch to create a sealed ball.
- Lightly flatten the sealed ball to create a semi-flat circle.
- In a large skillet, fill the entire bottom with vegetable oil. Heat to 350°F.
- Place 3 of the products seam side down and spaced at least 2" apart. Pan fry for 2 minutes or until bottom is golden brown.
- Flip the product over and immediately press down to flatten. Pan fry for an additional 2 minutes or until golden brown on both sides. 1 hotteok per serving.
