Peanut Butter Brownies made with M&M’S® Pastel Peanut Chocolate Candies and DOVE® Dark Chocolate

Ingredients
For Brownie
¼ cups M&M’S® Pastel Peanut Chocolate Candies, chopped into ¼-inch pieces
¼ cup M&M’S® Pastel Peanut Chocolate Candies, whole
1 cup DOVE® Dark Chocolate, chopped into ¼-inch pieces
1¼ cups all-purpose flour
1¼ cups unsweetened cocoa powder
½ t salt
1 t baking powder
1 cup butter, unsalted
2¼ cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
½ T vanilla extract
For Peanut Butter Frosting
1 cup M&M’S® Pastel Peanut Chocolate Candies, chopped into ¼-inch pieces
¾ cup peanut butter
¾ cup butter, unsalted
3 cups confectioners’ sugar
¼ cup whole milk

Preheat an oven to 350ºF. Spray a 9"x13" pan with nonstick cooking spray, or line parchment paper; set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder; set aside.

In a saucepan over medium heat, add 1 cup of butter and sugar. Stir continuously until mixture is smooth and begins to bubble. Remove from heat.

With the sauce pan off the head, add sugar, vanilla and eggs. Whisk mixture until fully combined.

Slowly stir in flour mixture from step 2 until fully combined. Fold in chopped DOVE® Dark Chocolate.

Cool brownie batter slightly and fold in whole M&M’S® Pastel Peanut Chocolate Candies.

Pour batter into prepared pan and bake approximately 30 minutes.

While brownies are baking, make peanut butter frosting: In a stand mixer, combine peanut butter, butter, confectioners’ sugar and whole milk and beat until fluffy. Fold in chopped M&M’S® Pastel Peanut Chocolate Candies.
When brownies are fully baked, remove from oven and let cool. Top with peanut butter frosting and garnish with the remaining ¼ cup chopped M&M’S® Pastel Peanut Chocolate Candies.
