Ingredients

  • 10 lb SKITTLES® POP’d, chopped
  • 4½ gallon Vanilla Ice Cream, slightly thawed
  • 4½ qt Whipped Cream
  • 6 ½ lb White Cake Mix, prepared according to package instructions
  • as needed Red Food Coloring
  • as needed Orange Food Coloring
  • as needed Yellow Food Coloring
  • as needed Green Food Coloring
  • as needed Purple Food Coloring (if unavailable, mix red and blue to make purple)

Direction

For the cake:

  1. Separate batter into five equal portions and color each individual portion with respective food colors to match the colors of SKITTLES® POP’d. Swirl the colored batters onto lined or greased sheet pan.
  2. Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 20-25 minutes or until center of cake springs back when touched or test with cake tester.
  3. Remove from oven and let cool completely. Once cooled, cut 2.5-2.75” rounds using a ring cutter. Reserve.
     

For the Ice Cream:

  1. Fold chopped SKITTLES® POP’d into slightly thawed ice cream.  Return to freezer and keep frozen until ready for use.

Assemble:

  1. Place cut out cake on bottom of parfait glass. Top with prepared ice cream. Add another layer of cake and prepared ice cream. Finish with whipped cream and additional chopped SKITTLES® POP’d.
