Turtle Pie Slammers

Makes: 6 Mini Pies

Warm and gooey marshmallows are sandwiched between two crisp hot-from-the-oven sugar cookies, then studded with crushed TWIX® Caramel Cookie Bar and toasted pecans.

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 Sugar cookies, 1¼", raw
  • ¼ cup TWIX® Caramel Cookie Bars, crushed, ¼", frozen
  • ¼ cup Pecans, medium chopped, toasted
  • 3 Marshmallows, jumbo, halved

DIRECTION

  1. Place sugar cookies on lined baking sheet 1" apart.
  2. Sprinkle 1 tsp. TWIX® Caramel Cookie Bar pieces and 1 tsp. pecans over each cookie. Press pieces into cookies.
  3. Bake cookies according to package directions and let cool.
  4. Place 6 cookies upside-down on microwave-safe plate.
  5. Place half of one large marshmallow on each cookie and top with another cookie, right side up.
  6. Microwave on High for 20 seconds. Press cookies together slightly so that marshmallow is dispersed between the cookies.
  7. Serve immediately.

Hints
Use two large cookies to serve a larger version of the Turtle Pie.
Three miniature marshmallows may be substituted each marshmallow half.
