Criskie (Crispy Rice Cookie) made with TWIX® Cookie Bar
Ingredients
- 1½ cup AP Flour
- ¾ tsp Baking Soda
- ¾ tsp Baking Powder
- ¾ tsp Salt
- 1½ cup Light Brown Sugar
- 2 each Eggs
- 3/4 cup Butter, softened
- ¼ cup Browned Butter
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 cup TWIX® Cookie Bars, chopped
- 1 cup Toasted Rice Cereal
- As needed Toasted Rice, for rolling
- As needed TWIX® Cookie Bars, for topping
Criskie (Crispy Rice Cookie) made with TWIX® Cookie Bar
Makes: 24 cookies
Direction
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Cream light brown sugar, eggs, butter, honey and vanilla extract. Add flour mixture and stir until combined. Add chopped TWIX® Cookie Bars and toasted rice cereal, stir until combined.
- Portion the dough into 45g scoops, chill until firm.
- Take each dough ball and press both sides gently into remaining toasted rice cereal, rolling to coat.
- Once all your cookies are coated, sprinkle some of the remaining rice cereal on top of the cookies, to help fill in the gaps as they bake.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown (190°F in the center).
- Remove from the oven, top with chopped TWIX® Cookie Bars and then return to oven until candy has just started to melt.
- Remove and cool.
